Ingredients
1 package of Breads From Anna Gluten Free Bread Mix, Corn and Dairy Free Mix, Gluten and Yeast Free Mix, or Classic Herb Bread Mix
2 tablespoons honey or sugar (if using a mix with yeast)
1 yeast package (included with mix)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
¼ cup oil
3 large eggs
¾ cup plus 2 tablespoons water
Directions
Hamburger/Hot Dog Buns:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. To make the hamburger or hotdog buns you will need a form to put the batter into. These can be bought or you can make your own using aluminum
foil. If using foil, the height of the form needs to be approximately 1 1/2 inches tall.
3. Once you have the forms, lightly grease them on the inside and place on a lightly greased parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
4. Prepare Breads From Anna Gluten Free Bread Mix or other Breads From Anna mix of your choice according to the package instructions.
5. Spoon bread dough into forms, filling them half way.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
7. Cool on a cooling rack.
Free Form Hamburger Bun:
Yield 18-24 buns, depending on the size of each bun.
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Get a large bowl of warm water and two parchment paper lined cookie sheets.
3. Prepare Breads From Anna Bread Gluten Free Bread Mix or other Breads From Anna mix of your choice according to package instructions.
4. Dip hands in the bowl of warm water. With very wet hands, scoop up approximately 1/3 cup of dough. (This is an approximation. You can make the bun as small or large as you like so you may want to scoop out more or less dough).
Note: It is important to keep your hands wet and free of dough. As soon as dough becomes too sticky and difficult to handle, submerge hands in warm water and remove any dough.
5. Gently form a bun and place on the parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
7. Cool on a cooling rack.
